About

A Kitchen Without Borders.

Satyajett.Kitchen is a personal archive of recipes, memories and culinary traditions passed down through my grandmother.

Born in Karachi and descended from the Ghorpades of Mudhol, my grandmother grew up surrounded by a remarkable confluence of Indian cultures — Maratha, Rajasthani, Gujarati, Sindhi, Punjabi, Bengali, Kannada and the cuisines of Lahore, Karachi and Madhya Pradesh.

Her kitchen reflected that richness. Alongside everyday family food were recipes and techniques influenced by the refined traditions of India’s royal kitchens.

I created Satyajett.Kitchen to preserve those recipes, stories and flavours — and to share a little of that extraordinary culinary inheritance with you.

Recipes worth remembering.
